The Clovis South Area
Clovis South Area Superintendent Stephanie Hanks, Ed.D., Message:
Welcome to all of our Clovis South Area students, families, and community members! You are all part of The Thundering Herd! It is with great pride that I reflect on our first year together and celebrate the strong foundation we have built as the newest comprehensive area in Clovis Unified. What began as a momentous launch has grown into a thriving, connected community, and I invite each of you to continue being active members of the Clovis South Area Longhorn Range.
As we look ahead to the continued construction of the Terry P. Bradley Educational Center, the Clovis South Area remains strongly represented by our elementary feeder school: Virginia R. Boris, Fancher Creek, Satoshi “Fibber” Hirayama, Temperance-Kutner, and Janet L. Young. Over this past year, these schools have exemplified excellence while helping shape the identity, traditions, and future of our area.
Our vision to be COHESIVE, COMPETITIVE, and CUTTING-EDGE continues to guide our work as we build upon the legacy established in our inaugural year. Our mission remains clear: to adapt to the future while developing extraordinary students in Mind, Body, and Spirit. The Thundering Herd is Clovis South Strong, and we are stronger today because of the commitment, collaboration, and care demonstrated by our students, staff, and families.
Through this first year, our elementary staff have deepened the foundational values in our students, and I am confident we are continuing to develop Longhorn Leaders who embody the herd’s strength, loyalty, compassion, and grit. Together, we are not only sustaining momentum, we are elevating it.
The Clovis South Area educational team proudly embraces our community partners and will continue to implement highly effective systems to ensure success for every student. Our cohesive mindset reminds us that we are never alone in the herd. Our competitive spirit remains rooted in our founding Superintendent’s core values, calling us to compete against ourselves, a standard, and within a team. And our cutting-edge approach continues to define us as an area that is not only new, but innovative, forward-thinking, and built for the future.
Thank you for continuing this journey with us.
I am humbled to serve the Clovis South Area Community.
I am proud of what we have accomplished together.
I am honored to be part of the Thundering Herd.
I am a Longhorn, and I will proudly represent this brand for life!
Stephanie Hanks, Ed.D.
